Hong Kong designers Office for Product Design have their own vision of a perfect food steamer. Although, it somehow doesn’t correspond with the average knowledge, the steamer look fantastic.
It is entitled Ding and it is a set that consists of a ceramic cooking pot with a steaming basket made of cedar wood and terracotta. It looks completely unusual and unrecognizable. One could never think that he looks at a steamer!
It goes without saying that steaming food is much healthier than usual cooking. The following steamer is an ecologically friendly one thanks to its terracotta base – its absorbs the access moisture thus preventing food from being soggy.
