You will need:

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup hot water
some orange juice
frozen sliced peaches
1 bottle sparkling white wine

What to do

First of all you have to stir the first 3 ingredients and wait until sugar dissolves. Take peaches and carefully blend them until they are finely chopped. Gradually pour sugar syrup into this mass. The third step is adding of wine. Once again – mix everything. Put the mass into the freezer – and let it stay there until firm, but not less than 3 hours.

The most interesting part is actually eating – take a spoonful of a mass and add it to champagne. Delicious!

As winter is coming closer and the weather is getting cooler and holidays are just around the corner, nothing can be better and cozier than a glass of mulled wine. The word “mulled” stands for heated and spiced. Mulled wine came to us from cooler countries but it has stayed with us and we love it. Such drink is a great alternative to traditional coffees, ciders and teas. The only one thing, it should be prepared well. Enjoy the following recipe:

You will need 25 minutes of your time and …

One bottle of red wine

One peeled and sliced orange

¼ cup of brandy

8-10 cloves

2/3 cup sugar

3 cinnamon sticks

2 tsp ground ginger

How to cook:

Combine all these ingredients in a large pot. Gently warm them on low heat. But be very careful and NEVER EVER let them boil! So keep your ingredients on heat for 20-25 minutes. Stir occasionally and make sure sugar has completely dissolved. When the wine is steaming it is ready to serve. Enjoy!
