Everybody has heard of Irish whiskey but not all of us know that this amazing drink is made as Scotch, but it doesn’t have its smoky quality because of another preparing technique. As a rule, Irish Scotch undergoes triple distillation and that is why it is extremely smooth and mild.

There are two kinds of Irish Whiskey: the first one is produced in Northern Ireland and it is a blend of malt and grain whiskey. And the second one is made in the Republic of Ireland and here we have the malt barley mixed with wheat, oats and rye.

Tips for enjoying Irish whiskey:

  • Irish Whiskey boasts amazingly rich flavor, so never spoil it while diluting the drink with water and / or soda. If you would like to have some water, put it in a separate glass;
  • Irish Whiskey is fantastic with coffee – the two beverages perfectly complement each other and we get rich and strong taste;
  • This kind of Whiskey can be found in nightclubs and at cocktail parties;
  • You have to enjoy every sip of Whiskey;
  • You can add a couple of ice cubes in order to taste it.

Enjoy!
