When St. Valentine’s Day is here, you definitely want to surprise your man and make him feel the best man ever. Apart from a cute present why not cook him these nice cookies covered with bright sugar? In order to make such delicious cookies you will need:

Glaze:

• 3 cup(s) confectioners’ sugar
• 1/4 cup(s) lemon juice
• coloured sugar crystals

Cookie Dough

• 3 cup(s) flour
• 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
• 1 cup(s) butter
• 1 1/2 cup(s) sugar
• 2 large eggs
• vanilla extract

How to cook:

First of all, make cookie dough. Take a large bowl, and mix there flour, baking powder and salt. Take one more bowl and beat butter and sugar until blended. Then carefully beat in eggs and vanilla until mixed. Beat in the two mixtures just until blended. Divide dough into 4 parts.

Preheat oven to 350-degree F. Then roll the first part of your dough, cut dough using heart-shaped cookie cutters. Place cookies on 2 ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake until edges are golden, but not more than 15 minutes. Make the same with the other 3 parts.

Now you should make glaze: stir together all the ingredients and spread glaze onto cookies and sprinkle sugar crystals on top.
